$ 32 BILLION is the estimated global annual profits of human trafficking, the fastest growing criminal industry in the world. After drug dealing, human trafficking is tied with the illegal arms industry the second largest criminal industry in the world today. 

2.5 BILLION people are in forced labour (including sexual exploitation) at the given time as result of trafficking. Approximately 80% of human trafficking victims are women and girls.

1.2 BILLION are trafficked each year. 

161 COUNTRIES  are reported to be affected by human trafficking by being a source, transit or destination, affecting every continent and type of economy.

1.4 BILLION people which is approximately 56% of all human trafficking are in Asia and the Pacific and India more than 200,000 people are trafficking into, within, or through out the country every year.

“Human Trafficking is defined as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs”

YOUCANFREE.US is an international movement that rescues women out of forced prostitution, providing them home, rehabilitation, and care. It brings hope and freedom to these women and helps them to start a new chapter in their lives. It also exists to raise awareness about human trafficking and to work on preventing it in partnership with local public and private institutions.


DELIVERANCE Rescuing destitute women and children from the cycle of exploitation in partnership with local authorities and social organizations and providing them a clean and safe place to recover while receiving legal, medical, spiritual and emotional support.

DEVELOPMENT Providing education, language vocational training programs in various fields through partnerships with schools & companies to equip them with the basic skills needed to re-enter society.

DIRECTION Facilitating job placement of these women through a network of engaged individuals and corporations, helping them to become financially independent and able to contribute to the community in which they live. Continuous assistance in their development through regular counseling and support.

You Can Free Us is hosting a 2nd Annual Run for Freedom on September 28th, 2013 and the certified 5K course will start and finish at Shadow Ridge Middle School in Flower Mound, Texas.

Run for Freedom 2012 - 5k Update

YouCanfree.Us just hosted our first Run for Freedom - 5K at Flower Mound High School, Flower Mound, Texas.
This was a great success as we had over 450 registered runners. 
We are grateful to all the runners, sponsors and the vendors who came to support the cause.
A special thanks to Mayor Tom Hayden of Flower Mound who opened the event with a prayer.
We are grateful to the city of Flower Mound for all the permits and the Flower Mound Police Department for their help in making sure the run was great success.
This will be an annual feature for Flower Mound, Texas. We cannot wait to announce the date for the 2013- Run for Freedom.

Awareness campaign event against human trafficking

February 17, 2012 at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, New Delhi

Fashion Design Council of India & YOU CAN FREE US, a humanitarian non-profit organization, present an awareness campaign event against human trafficking.

YCFU is a humanitarian non-profit organization founded in 2010 in the US & India that rescues women out of forced prostitution providing them a home, rehabilitation, vocational training and employment opportunities. Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) is the apex body of fashion design in India, represented by over 350 members. Founded on the premise of promoting, nurturing and representing the best of fashion design talent in the country; its prime objective is to propagate the Business of Fashion.


Create awareness about human trafficking and raise funds for YOUCANFREE.US


  1. The Fashion world in India will take a stand against Human Trafficking.
  2. 12 Top Fashion Designers have created a look that has transformed one rescued woman with the theme “From Ashes to Beauty”. 
  3. Subi Samuel, a leading art photographer in India, has documented the transformation producing 12 photographs that will be revealed on the day of the event and sold in a photo exhibition. 
  4. The designers creations will also be showcased at the fashion show on the day of the event.
  5. Bollywood stars expected to support the event.
  6. The photos will be featured in a YCFU calendar 2013 and will be displayed in other exhibitions around India and abroad. 


The event will take place at the Delhi fashion week on the 17th February 2012 at 5.45pm fashion show.
